Transceivers for Wireless Sensors Feature : Wireless sensors are the ideal solution for quick and cost-effective installation on cranes or other mobile machines. Since these sensors utilize radio connection instead of costly and time consuming cabling, they will be connected to a wireless counterpart. iFLEX TRS 10/ 12/ 14 are the appropriate products for customers who are looking for integrating wireless sensors into existing control environments. Hirschmann wireless sensors can be integrated into a control or monitoring concept in three different ways: • Wireless interface integrated into the PLC or console • Via Transceivers providing an analog or CAN interface • Directly via MultiSensor Indicator iSCOUT PRS 85 The wireless transceivers iFLEX TRS10/ 12/ 14 provide a transparent conversion of up to 4 wireless sensor values into analog or CANopen standard interfaces simultaneously. Thus wireless sensors function virtually like wired sensors and can be connected quite easily to standard controller interfaces. Which transceiver is used for which application? • iFLEX TRS10 provides a CANopen interface according to CiA DS 301/ DS 304. Bit rates from 125 kbps up to 1 Mbps are supported. 4 sensors or A2B can be connected in any combination. • iFLEX TRS12 provides 2 independent relay outputs. 2 A2B switches can be connected. • iFLEX TRS14 provides 4 independent analog interfaces.
