Geometric Sensors ( gSENS series) - gSENS DWG 10/ 20

Rotary Encoder single-turn / multi-turn gSENS DWG 10/ 20 absolute rotary encoders combine precise position measurement with high resolution and compact design. Single-turn ( gSENS DWG 20) and multi-turn versions ( gSENS DWG 10) with identical flange footprint are available. The sensors have been developed especially for angular positioning tasks under rough environmental conditions like e.g. the slew ring control in mobile cranes. Based on an optoelectronic scanning mechanism the encoders provide a high sampling rate and a constant precision over the full measuring range. Without backup batteries the sensors are capable of providing definite position values from the moment they are switched on as well as immediately after a power loss.
